Quando é que as/os líderes de nações podem agir como pessoas normais?

A popularidade da primeira-ministra dinamarquesa e do seu partido têm vindo a diminuir no seu país ao longo de 2013, mas os dinamarqueses parecem mais interessados nas consequências das políticas seguidas pelo governo do que em pormenores curiosos. Por exemplo, o episódio com a actriz Sarah Jessica Parker aconteceu em Dezembro de 2012 e veio a público um mês depois, mas passou relativamente despercebido, e só agora, com a “selfie” tirada no funeral de Nelson Mandela se tornou viral.

'We too are just people who have fun': Danish prime minister defends controversial selfie with Cameron and Obama

The Danish prime minister (Helle Thorning-Schmidt) has defended snapping a controversial selfie with David Cameron (Prime Minister of United Kingdom) and Barak Obama (first African American United States president) at Nelson Mandela's memorial service.

Helle Thorning-Schmidt said that the trio of world leaders were just 'having a bit of fun' and that taking the relaxed picture was in-keeping with the spirit of the event (Nelson Mandela’s memorial service, who died aged 95 on December 5^th 2013).

Vores statsminister fik ved overrækkelsen af Nobels Fredspris i december 2012 i Oslo lejlighed til at hilse på Sarah Jessica Parker. Parker er bedst kendt fra sin rolle som Carrie Bradshaw i den amerikanske Tv-serie 'Sex and the City'.

Helle Thorning når lige at sætte sig i sin limousine da hun får øje på kendissen. Sarah Jessica Parker Står et par meter ved siden af den røde løber. Hun er optaget med at møde sine fans og give autografer. Vores statsminister går målrettet over til Parker, prikker hende på skulderen og udbryder,

- Hej, jeg er Danmarks statsminister!

Efter en lille snak skilles de to kendisser og Sarah Jessica Parker siger tusind tak, på dansk vel at mærke.

Se é difícil compreender e aceitar cenas de violência numa situação de frustração ou de derrota, o que dizer quando se celebra um feito que não acontecia há 19 anos? 

Festa do título do PSG acaba em violência com a polícia

"...a celebração do título obtido pela equipa de Carlo Ancelotti não acabou muito bem....incidentes alegadamente provocados por grupos organizados de adeptos obrigaram a polícia a intervir e o clima de festa ficou estragado.

O clube recebeu o troféu de campeão na praça Trocadéro, mas mesmo aí registaram-se cenas de violência. Foram arremessadas bombas de fumo, houve empurrões e confrontos físicos entre adeptos e forças de segurança...

Após isso, os adeptos mais radicais desafiaram as forças de segurança: derrubaram e arremessaram as barreiras de segurança, ao que a polícia respondeu com granadas de atordoamento. Alguns veículos no local ficaram danificados."

"Several Norwegian schools have rescheduled this month's mid-term examinations to avoid a conflict with Justin Bieber's arrival in Oslo. Five schools in the fishing port of Ålesund decided to adjust their timetable to accommodate local Beliebers who planned to attend the singer's gigs....
According to Norway's minister of education and research, the government does not intend to intervene either for or against Bieber's smitten hordes. "We've all been 14-years-old and know that interests can be intense," Kristin Halvorsen told the Associated Press. "The local schools have the responsibility to schedule the local midterms, and if they think there is any reason to change the dates, they have authority to do so."

Se por um lado parece ser absurdo adiar exames por um motivo tão pueril, as escolas locais tem autonomia e sao responsabilizadas pelas decisoes que tomam.

Provavelmente, as escolas tiveram em atenção o sucedido no ano passado em Oslo, em que 88 fans tiveram que receber apoio hospitalar.
